About Us
The Victory Christian Centre Assemblies of God is a part of Pentecostal denomination that has been serving the people of Slough since 2007. As a church we believe that Jesus is still working in His church through the power of His Spirit to change people's lives for the better. To this end we seek to build church that demonstrate God's love to our communities in a practical and vital way.
At the Victory Christian Centre Slough, Jesus Christ alone is our message and our focus. That same Jesus Christ of Nazareth who won the battle two thousand and over years ago is "the Lamb of God and our victorious king, who alone took away the sin of the world (John 1:29); and whom "every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them are subject to Him (Revelation 5:13). His name alone is our victory, our power and our hope.
The VCC SLOUGH is blessed with visionary and spirit filled leader. Pastor FAMOUS GYABS is devoted to upholding the word of God and rely wholly on the directions of the Holy Spirit in all affaires. However, the Almighty God has graciously and mercifully inspired this dedicated person, who is co-founder and overseer to feed His church, which He has bought with His own blood (Acts 20:28).
With the help of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Famous Gyabs continues to produce God fearing, Christ centred and good quality leadership to Victory Christian Centre through his total dependence on the directions of the Holy Spirit, to whom the church is subject.
This church is also blessed with able leaders who are honest and full of the Holy Spirit appointed by God over the business of the church (Acts 6:3). The Leaders have distinguished themselves in providing selfless sacrifice and service in support of the vision and mission of the church.
